KOTA BARU: Tan Sri Annuar Musa has urged all the Ketereh Umno division committee members not to leave Umno despite him being sacked by the party.
In his Facebook post this morning, the former Ketereh Umno division chief also hoped they would remain patient.
"I held a meeting with all Ketereh Umno division commitee members last night who l have led for nearly 35 years.
"I told them not to be sad as this is part of the price of struggle and l chose to tell the truth even though it is bitter for me.
"My last word to them was not to leave the party and be patient," he added.
Annuar said he planned to meet all the 124 branch leaders and the party's three wing chiefs this evening.
He also allowed his speech to be uploaded live in FB.
"There's nothing for me to hide now..InsyaAllah," he added.
Annuar Musa was one of the three Umno leaders sacked during its recent supreme council meeting.
Two others were Arau Wanita chief and wife of Arau MP Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim, Datin Seri Shamsiah Md Yassin, and also Maran Wanita chief Datin Seri Fatimah Kassim, who is also the wife of Maran MP Datuk Seri Ismail Muttalib.
