KUALA LUMPUR: Police are investigating a road rage video that surfaced on Twitter yesterday involving two car drivers.
Petaling Jaya police, in a statement today said one of the drivers and a witness have been called in to assist with the investigation.
Police said the incident occurred at around 10am in Jalan SS8/2, Petaling Jaya.
At the time of writing, the video has been retweeted more than 11,900 times since being posted by Twitter user @zabedabedoo yesterday at 11.58am.
In the video, the road user was seen heckling the driver to stop the car. A heated episode ensued afterwards with the road user using abusive language and threatening to hit the e-hailing driver with a club.
"It was my first time witnessing a road bullying incident. It was quite traumatising," the Twitter user, @zabedabedoo told the New Straits Times.
Witnesses to the incident are requested to call the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters at 03-7966 2222.
