KUALA LUMPUR: Infomina Bhd has received a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) amounting to US$28.44 million (RM125.14 million) from Siam Commercial Bank Public Co Ltd (SCB) to cement its presence in the kingdom and push its orderbook to over RM500 million.
Under the BPA, the company said its unit Infomina (Thailand) Co Ltd would provide technology application and infrastructure operations, maintenance and support services and to provide solutions for the improvement and implementation of SCB's application programming interface (API) gateway.
"The project will be carried out over a period of three years, commencing from Jan 1, 2023 to Dec 31, 2025," Infomina managing director Yee Chee Meng said today.
"Infomina will improve and implement SCB's API gateway in line with the latter's strategy to transform beyond the fintech economy.
"I am delighted that Infomina has been chosen by the SCB Group as their partner for their long term strategy to transform beyond the fintech economy," Yee added.
He said with the BPA, Infomina's outstanding orderbook had ballooned to over RM500 million.
"This is truly a fantastic achievement to land a project of such a size in a market outside of Malaysia. Over the near term, we look forward to more such wins as we leverage on our superior domain expertise to deliver solutions to our customers in key markets across the region," he added.
