Rodzi moves from NSC to head Mampu

KUALA LUMPUR: National Security Council director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad has been appointed as the new director general of the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu) effective from May 30.

He is replacing Datuk Seri Dr Yusof Ismail.

Rodzi, 59, graduated with a master's degree in media and information neuroscience from Universiti Teknologi Mara and a Bachelor's Degree in Demography and Population Studies (Honours) from Universiti Malaya. 

He has served 33 years in the public service and has extensive experience in various fields including in security and disaster management.

He held the post of NSC director general since July 15, 2021.

Mampu also expressed its highest appreciation to the former director general for his contribution.
