PM should speak out strongly against Palestinian oppression in Gaza, says Hadi

SHAH ALAM: Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang asserted that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim should be more forceful, resolute, and vocal when speaking out against the Palestinians' oppression in light of the violence in Gaza.

"Not strong enough. (The prime minister) Not daring enough to express support for Hamas although this group should not be equated to (terrorist) Daesh.

"Hamas is going against Israel according to the laws of Islam. As for Daesh, there were claims that the group is orchestrated by agents in the West to create provocation in Islamic countries.

"I have received a lot of information that there were foreign agents (in the West) behind the establishment of Daesh to create disorder in Muslims nations," he told reporters here today.
