Threatening notes found outside of Minister Nga Kor Ming's parents' house in Manjung

MANJUNG: Threatening notes were found scattered in front of the house of Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming's parents on Jalan Ling Sing Hang in Ayer Tawar today.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamed Nordin Abdullah stated that they received a report from Nga's 76-year-old mother about the incident at 10.15am.

She reported finding papers with the words "Nga Kor Ming, do not challenge Islam" in front of their house.

"The complainant stated that she saw many papers with the mentioned writing when she left the house at 7.30am.

"She believes that the words were intended maliciously. Therefore, efforts to track down the suspect are currently underway. The cause of the incident is not yet known," Nordin said in a statement.

The case is classified under Section 507 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication.

Nordin urged those with any information about the case to contact the investigating officer, Inspector Fariq Nazmi Mohd Mustafa, at 013-3317099.
